What fears have you overcome and how?

Life can be a scary, uncertain time for many of us. I find this quote below by Sholom Aleichem describes the state of affairs rather aptly…

We never know what tomorrow brings.. whether we wake up and feel the rays of sunshine on our face or speak to someone we hold dear.

For some, life is a blasé repetitive trip around the sun, for others a complete fluke and then the less fortunate.. well for them a perpetual tragedy.

I think everyone comes into this world with a fear of death.. a dread of what’s next? This is a the great equaliser regardless of class or station in life.

However, if one must leave this mortal coil, and we all must… then I think we should fear something else.

For me, a life not having found true love was a most daunting prospect. I can still recall in my youth dreading living on this earth without finding that special someone.. the right one!

I am glad I have overcome this fear.. because I found love and finding love dispelled all my other fears.

Love is capable of enriching a person beyond anything else.. it provides a confidence and courage no drug can..

Love will have its ups and downs.. she might be upset at you for a while.. but she will make you smile like no one else can.

Finding love removes your fear of inadequacy..once love wraps it’s reassuring arms around you.. no trouble seems so menacing.

I no longer fear death.. I don’t fear not being enough because I know I’m loved!
