The one who once captured my gaze

Is today missing from my sight as though lost in a maze

The one who I was devoted to and adored as the goddess of innocence

Has made me a stranger today, her once sweet kiss has become poisonous

The one who used to affirm we would never part ways

Has today said her goodbyes and set our love story ablaze

When her and I used to spend evenings together

The moon used to blush and shine brighter

The ocean of our love has now slipped away where I stand

All we’re left with in our hand is trickling sand

I pray someone would ask of what crime I’m guilty

Why has she turned her back on our love story?

We used to be the air we breathed

Today she has drifted away leaving our love story incomplete..

I was once her reason to find bliss

Today our love story is as though it didn’t exist…
