Subtle Deviation..

A casual conversation with my father today lead me to contemplate a great tragedy of life that can befall any beautiful soul when they experience a subtle deviation.

A seemingly, small, subtle error in thinking today, unfettered by correction can lead to a enormous distortion of our personality.

It’s as if a child walking on a train track with his eyes fixed firmly downward at his feet. Looking immediately in front as he trudges along, the track seems straight… so the child carries on walking.

Only when he lifts his gaze does he see the deviation in the track. His personality has been distorted. He realises he has gone off course, but life has by then, passed him by..

Deviations from our good nature can appear minuscule in the immediate, fooling us into thinking we are on the right track..
